Established in 1989, a family based business entered the industry within the boarders of Potchefstroom. Started from the bottom, the founder Jack Olivier, started trading at the time.

Generation after generation, the family maintained the business, keeping it afloat by slowly incorporating cleaning supplies and chemicals. It was not long till the business- name changed to Micro Chemicals in 2003. With this alteration in place, generation three decided to dispense chemicals from raw materials, making this craft their niche of the business.

The current owner of the business decided to buy the partnership from the family. The name Micro Chemicals soon changed to the catchy name Pienk Pilletjies, which has obtained substantial market share in the cleaning supply industry.

Pienk Pilletjies is a popular brand among homes and businesses, in and around surrounding areas of Potchefstroom. We supply a wide variety of cleaning supplies, chemicals, pool chemicals, brush-ware, plastic bags you name it! We would also like to mention that the fourth generation is currently entering the market, with the hope in following the set footsteps of their ancestors.
