Take the stress out of your birthday party and let Science Action Education host your next birthday. At R100 per child, we provide the setup, tables and all the equipment to make your birthday party an educational and entertaining experience. You just need to provide kids and the cake!
We understand the demands of our little celebrities and whether they ask for a slime party, erupting volcano or explosions, we have you covered. They each get to make and take home a tub of instant snow, monster slime and their very own multi coloured bouncy ball. They are also involved in further demonstrations to explain the science behind it and fire our powerful water rockets.
Our science communicators are prepared to answer any inquisitive questions and love nothing better than connecting young minds to the world of science.

Party at Maker School
You can now avoid the mess at home and book your Science Party at the new Maker School venue in Woodstock at R150 per child. Here they each get to wear a Maker School apron and safety glasses while we decorate your child friendly science lab.
For R200 per child age 9 and up, you can also pick an activity from our range of STEAM Workshops or let us create one around your requirements. Please visit our Maker School page for further details

STEAM at Maker School
Join us every Friday afternoon from 14H30 to 17H30 for a brand new collaboration with Maker Station at their Woodstock facility to explore an exciting range of STEAM workshops. With access to a vast network of expertise and extensive range of tools, we combine old skool play with cutting edge technology.
Hosted at Maker Station it is fitting to focus on making, or in some cases, deconstructing stuff! All materials and tools are supplied and with expertise on hand, no prior skills are required. Some workshops require adult supervision, but most accept children from age 9 on their own. Adult classes are also in the pipeline and we can design a workshop around your specific needs.
We work with a variety of materials and combine a number of STEAM subjects to inspire creative thinking. Design, create and decorate your very own project. Learn the correct use of our range of hand and power tools and graduate to laser cutters and 3D printers.
Acquire making skills... and have loads of FUN in the process!
