JFS Funeral Services is the first funeral parlour in South Africa which has been developed in line with the standard and new stringent laws, written by the founders of JFS in 2008/9 for the department of economic development in Gauteng. The new Gauteng funeral regulatory and development bill will be implemented in 2013 according to letters signed in January 2012 by the MEC of economic developmet Ms QD Mahlangu. The JFS facility a division of Jorosco Group(Pty) Ltd is situated in the Eastern Cape and built in accordance to all current by laws.

JFS has a training centre, chapel, offices ,dressing rooms for cultural requirements, autopsy, embalming, restorative art and preparation areas. It is also equipped with chlorinator systems, drainage, medical lights, autoclave machine and required equipment is made of stainless steel. The JFS facility has been developed over the last six months with trauma counseling rooms, staff quarters, rest rooms, washing facilities for doctors, staff and clients. The operational areas of JFS are covered by 24 hour surveillance cameras. We also have a showroom, enclosed loading/drop off zone,10 foot high walls, extractor fans, back up generators,wash bay, sewerage and we are the first facility in South Africa which has gone eco friendly with the installation of an underground conservancy tank to cater for waste water which may be infected with dreadfull deceases..

The mortuary is built in line with IS0 9001 and WHO standards and has sufficient space for dealing with disasters. The JFS mortuary provides clients and staff with hot and cold water, showers, twirly fans, viewing rooms, a tea garden, a florist including parking for visitors and disabled people with a tarmac area, large enough for a helicopter to land if needed. Although JFS is a new company its staff has jointly more than 80 years of experience in funeral, financial and manufacturing services sectors. Although we are not the market leaders as yet, JFS aims to set the pace and standards for self proclaimed market leaders to follow.
