I am a self-taught sculptor, previously working as a toolmaker for some 30 years. Having experimented with various mediums such as bronze, clay, paint and charcoal, I decided to dedicate my time to sculpting – specifically wood, to express myself. I am passionate when working with wood and find the  medium inspiring, as each piece has a life and story of its own. My journey begins with sourcing a beautiful piece of wood, listening to its own story and carving the piece to exhibit a completed sculpture.
